Just 65 km from Dakar, this 3,500-hectare reserve is home to rhinos, giraffes, buffalo and 120 bird species.
Bandia has successfully reintroduced animals once absent from Senegal, including rhinoceroses, giraffes and large antelopes. Gazelles, buffalo, monkeys, warthogs, jackals and many birds also roam the reserve.
